Turf/Lawn Care Technician

Seasonal or Full time*

As one of our Turf Technicians you will be a part of our team providing quality lawn care service for our valued customers. As a Turf Technician, you will maintain and operate a variety of lawn care equipment used in the daily maintenance for commercial and residential accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring quality in all areas of lawn maintenance.

*For full time employment you will be required to assist with snow removal services during the winter months.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to operate a variety of lawn mowing equipment.

· Can perform manual tasks such as raking and weeding.

· Provide spring and fall site preparations.

· Providing a clean site free of debris.

· Provide edging and trimming services.

· Driving and pulling trailers to customer sites (Preferred)

Skills:

· Attention to detail.

· Good customer service skills.

· Punctual self-starter.

· Multitasker and able to prioritize work accordingly.

· Positive upbeat attitude in all situations.

· Mechanical and hand equipment use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to work every day
• Valid driver’s license (Required: Must be 18+ to drive company vehicles)
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently such as: lawn mowers, walk behind lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, trimmers, and other hand tools.
• Ability to take direction and be a part of the teams effort.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) Will train new applicants

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17 - $22 per hour DOE
